ENRAP Viet Nam (Knowledge Networking for Rural Development in Asia/Pacific Region, Viet Nam) is a joint initiative of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the International Development Research Center (IDRC) that aims to support IFAD-funded rural development projects in Viet Nam better document, manage and share knowledge generated within these projects.

ENRAP activities will fucus on (i) tests and promotes the use of information and communication technology (ICT) tools to disseminate project knowledge; (ii) explores how ICT tools can help strengthen networks locally, nationally and regionally; and make knowledge sharing possible at all these levels; and (iii) how can the supplementary and complementary use of traditional and modern communication tools help build knowledge-sharing networks at national and regional levels and around themes relevant for poverty reduction.

ENRAP Viet Nam supports IFAD-funded projects in the provinces: Tuyen Quang (RIDP), Ha Giang (DPPR-HG), Ha Tinh (IMPP-HT), Quang Binh (DPPR-QB), and Tra Vinh (IMPP-TV)*.

*In 2007, IFAD is formulating a new programme in two more provinces: Cao Bang and Ben Tre.
